Online bookmaker rushes to produce the globes

Less than an hour after the official nominations were announced on Monday morning BetWWTS.com became the first bookmaker in the world to release odds on the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards.

As the Hollywood Foreign Press Association was unveiling the nominees for the awards, odds makers at BetWWTS.com were busy calculating odds for the most popular Golden Globe categories.

BetWWTS.com has created odds on the nine major Golden Globe categories, acknowledging excellence in motion pictures and television.

This marks the fourth time this year that BetWWTS.com became the first bookmaker to establish betting lines on an entertainment awards ceremony. The company also announced the first official odds on the Oscar, Emmy, and GrammyAwards only hours after those nominations were announced.

Nominees appear in descending order from favorites to long-shots under each category heading. BetWWTS.com will accept wagers on the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards until only hours before the awards ceremony.
